Our manifesto
Being healthy is hardWith profit-driven food and healthcare systems, depleted agriculture, environmental toxins, and the demands of modern life, staying healthy has become increasingly difficult. Additionally, the institutions meant to protect us often prioritize profit over people.
The food crisisToday's agriculture often focuses more on producing large quantities rather than ensuring the food is packed with nutrients. This means that even though we have plenty of fruits and vegetables, they might not be as nutritious as they once were. The heavy use of chemicals can harm the soil, further reducing the quality of our produce. So, while our grocery stores are full, the food on our plates might not always give us the essential vitamins and minerals we need to stay healthy.
A failing healthcare systemThe prevailing mentality in our healthcare system is that if you’re not critically ill, you’re considered fine. This reactive approach overlooks the importance of preventive care and early intervention. Traditional medical practices often fail to consider the body holistically. Doctors rarely look at the root causes of symptoms or consider the healing potential of diet and nutrition.
The wellness industry paradoxThe health and wellness industry is a billion-dollar market, bombarding consumers with conflicting advice on foods, diets, and supplements. However, the truth is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Each person’s biology is unique, and what works for one individual may not work for another. We recognized that personalized health recommendations based on individual biomarker data are crucial. For example, a turmeric supplement might benefit one person while being ineffective or even harmful to another.
A better futureThe generations before us were ill informed, possessed a higher trust in institutions, heavily influenced by marketing and advertising, and frankly did not know any better. We are committed to doing better. By leveraging the latest research, clinical trials, and biological data, we can take control over our health and make informed decisions to improve our well-being.
